Pocket springs
Springs sit in individual pockets rather than one interconnected unit. The range includes medium and firm spring systems, zoned options and foam or latex comfort layers. Pocket springs can help reduce partner disturbance.

Full latex
A latex core supplies the support without a spring unit. Slaapkop Classic has an 18 cm core; Premier adds a 5 cm comfort topper, while Ultimate combines the core with internal and external comfort toppers.
King mattress size: measure first
A standard Australian king mattress is typically about 183 cm wide × 203 cm long. Check the exact dimensions of your chosen mattress and the internal measurements of your bed frame before ordering.
Allow space to walk around the bed, open drawers and move through doorways. Check stairs, corridors and lifts too: getting a king mattress into the room matters as much as fitting it on the base.
King Single, King and Super King are different sizes. For an unusual frame, ask us about a custom mattress.
Choose the feel, then the finish
Compare your normal sleeping position on a few mattresses. Couples should try them together where possible, particularly if you prefer different feels.
Double-sided flippable models can be flipped and rotated according to their care instructions. Single-sided and pillowtop models keep the sleeping surface uppermost and are rotated. A latex comfort layer above springs is different from a full latex mattress.

How much does a king size mattress cost?
The king mattresses shown here currently range from $795 for the Classic Single Sided to $4,990 for the Slaapkop Ultimate Latex. The price depends on the support system, comfort materials and construction. Each card shows the king price, rather than a starting price for a smaller size.
What is the difference between a king and a queen mattress?
A standard Australian king is typically about 183 × 203 cm, while a queen is typically about 153 × 203 cm. A king gives approximately 30 cm more width at the same nominal length. Confirm exact product dimensions and leave room around your bed.
Is a pocket spring or latex king mattress better?
They have different constructions and feels. A pocket spring mattress uses individual springs beneath comfort layers; a full latex mattress uses latex for its core support. Neither is the best choice for everyone. Compare both in the showroom and choose according to your comfort preferences, base and budget.
