The ChiroFlex Lo-Lo Tiltmaster Adjustable Bed is a highly versatile six-motor adjustable bed designed for people with significant mobility or high-care requirements.
Unlike a conventional adjustable bed that simply raises the back and legs, the Lo-Lo Tiltmaster provides extensive control over both the sleeping surface and the height and angle of the entire bed. This allows the user or carer to configure the bed for sleeping, resting, getting in and out of bed, or even sitting in a near-upright position.
With a platform height adjustment from approximately 30cm to 77cm, the bed can be lowered very close to the floor or raised considerably higher depending on the user's needs.
Available in Long Single and King Single, the ChiroFlex Lo-Lo Tiltmaster is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a premium high-care adjustable bed with a wide range of positioning options.
Six-Motor Adjustable Bed System
At the heart of the ChiroFlex Lo-Lo Tiltmaster is its six-motor adjustment system, providing considerably more positioning flexibility than a standard electric adjustable bed.
The independent adjustments include:
- Head Tilt – changes the angle at the head end of the bed.
- Back Raise – raises the upper body into a more upright or supported position.
- Lumbar Support – provides additional adjustable support through the lower back area.
- Leg Raise – elevates and adjusts the position of the legs.
- Whole-Bed Height Adjustment – raises or lowers the entire sleeping platform.
- Bed Tilt Adjustment – allows the overall angle of the bed to be changed by independently altering the height at either end.
Together, these functions provide an extensive range of sleeping, resting and sitting positions.
From Sleeping to an Upright Sitting Position
One of the standout features of the Tiltmaster is just how far the bed can be adjusted.
By combining the back, leg, height and tilt functions, the bed can move from a conventional sleeping position through to a near-upright sitting position.
This can be particularly useful for people who spend extended periods in bed or who find getting from a conventional flat sleeping position into a seated position difficult.
Rather than being limited to simply lifting the head or feet, the six-motor design gives the user much greater control over how their body is positioned.
Lo-Lo Height Adjustment – Approximately 30cm to 77cm
The Lo-Lo function is one of the most important differences between the Tiltmaster and a conventional adjustable bed.
The entire mattress platform can be lowered to approximately 30cm from the floor or raised to approximately 77cm.
Lowering the bed can make a significant difference for shorter users or people with restricted mobility because it allows them to sit further back onto the mattress rather than having to climb onto a bed that is too high.
Once in bed, the platform can then be raised and repositioned as required.
The substantial height adjustment also gives the bed much greater flexibility for carers or family members assisting someone in bed.
Adjustable Lumbar Support
In addition to the normal back and leg adjustments, the Tiltmaster incorporates powered lumbar support.
This allows the user to increase or decrease support around the lower-back area independently, providing another level of adjustment that isn't available on many conventional adjustable beds.
Rather than relying solely on the mattress for lumbar positioning, the bed itself can be adjusted to provide additional support where required.
Head and Whole-Bed Tilt
The Tiltmaster provides considerably more control over bed angle than a conventional adjustable base.
The head end can be lowered or raised, while the foot end can also be raised or lowered, allowing the entire sleeping platform to be tilted.
Combined with the independently adjustable back and leg sections, this provides a very wide range of possible positions depending on the user's individual requirements.
Standard Grab Rails
The ChiroFlex Lo-Lo Tiltmaster comes with grab rails as standard.
Located on either side of the bed, these provide a secure handhold that can assist the user when repositioning themselves or getting into and out of bed.
For users who require additional support or protection along the side of the mattress, collapsible side rails are also available.
Optional Collapsible Side Rails
The Tiltmaster can be fitted with optional collapsible side rails, available in either:
- Half Length – $350
- Full Length – $490
The rails can be raised when required and collapsed when access to the bed is needed.
This makes it possible to configure the bed according to the individual user's mobility and care requirements rather than having permanent fixed rails.
Lockable Castors
Despite its extensive functionality, the ChiroFlex Lo-Lo Tiltmaster can still be repositioned when required.
The bed is fitted with lockable castors, allowing it to be moved more easily for positioning, access or cleaning and then securely locked into place.
This is particularly useful in bedrooms where carers or family members may need access to different sides of the bed.
Memory Settings
The adjustable system includes memory settings, allowing preferred bed positions to be saved and recalled without having to manually recreate the position each time.
This is particularly convenient when the bed is regularly moved between sleeping, resting and sitting configurations.

The ChiroFlex Lo-Lo Tiltmaster has been designed as a fully functioning adjustable bed for people who require considerably more assistance and positioning flexibility than a standard electric adjustable bed can provide.

Lo-Lo Tiltmaster vs ChiroFlex Hi-Lo
For customers who need a high-care adjustable bed but don't require the Tiltmaster's full range of tilt and positioning functions, there is also a ChiroFlex Hi-Lo model.
Both models provide features designed to assist people with mobility requirements, including grab rails and side-rail options.
The Lo-Lo Tiltmaster is the more highly adjustable option, with its six-motor system and extensive tilt and positioning capability. The Hi-Lo model provides a more cost-effective alternative for users who require height adjustment and assisted-care functionality without needing the Tiltmaster's complete range of movement.
Our team can demonstrate the differences between the models and help you determine which configuration is most appropriate for your requirements.
